Just a cute story

So I guess I haven't really noticed how quickly Izabella learns from doing. The other day we were cleaning her room when I found a couple of empty wipe package, you know the ones from Costco. Izabella was helping me, and wanted to do everything herself. So I gave her the wipe packages and told her they needed to be thrown away. I lead her into the bathroom and showed her were the garbage can was. She threw them away and was so happy with herself that she started to clap. Later that afternoon I got a new wipes package out when it was time to change Izabella's diaper. A few hours later I notice Mike was getting ready to change her diaper and had gotten out a new wipes package. I just figured he hadn't taken time to look for the one I had opened earlier. However, that night when I was getting Bella ready for bed I couldn't find either wipe package. Where could she have put them? After about 20 mins of searching I decided to use the wipes from the diaper bag. Then when it was time for Mike and I to get ready for bed, I went into the bathroom and noticed that the garbage can was quite full. When I looked more closely I found the 2 packages of wipes we had opened earlier that day along with one of Mike's stinky shoes, Echo's dogie toy and a couple of magnets from the fridge. I guess Izabella found a few more things around the house she thought where garbage. I will have to be careful what I show her from now on. I can't believe how fast she is growing and quickly she is learning.

Gardening

This weekend Mike decided we needed to take some time and do something as a family. So he loaded Izabella and I up and drove us to Home Depot to go flower shopping. You see, we have had this mess of climbing vines in our front yard flower bed since we moved in to this apartment in September. I have told my self every weekend since spring came that I was going to just pull it all out. Well, I'm glad to report the task is now done. I was surprised how quickly we got all the vines pulled out. Izabella enjoyed getting dirty from head to toe and digging holes in the dirt for mommy. She didn't even mind when Daddy sprayed her down with the hose. Bella even tried to help me by getting the plants for me, but after she pulled off all the blooms I decided that she shouldn't handle the flowers. I am so glad to have my flower garden planted. Now our house looks much nicer. Thanks Mikey for such a wonderful family day!!

Love You!!

Mother's Day Weekend

I know I am a little late posting this, but I have to share the wonderful weekend we had. Friday afternoon Mike's parents stopped and picked the tree of us up to head to Hill Air force Base, in Utah were Mike's brother Jeff lives. We had plans for the whole family to go to the new Star Trek movie together. Of course Grandma opted to stay home with the four babies while the rest of us went to the movies. If was so much fun to be able to have a date night with adults. And the Plane men had so much fun showing off their great Star Trek Uniforms that Mom made. Saturday we all got up early and went to Justin's tee ball game. Justin did great and it was fun to watch him play. Izabella loved it. She wanted to run out onto the field and play to. After the game was over I let Izabella run on the field and over third base. I think I have a future Softball player on my hands.
Justin all ready for the ball.

After the game we all caught a quick lunch and some of us got to take naps, then we went to see where Jeff and Em's new house is going to be built. I am so excited for them and their new house. I can't wait till it's done! Then we swung by the air force museum. I loved the mash helicopter, and Izabella enjoyed daddy's crazy driving of the stroller.

Jeff fixed steak that night for our Mother's Day dinner. It was great! Thanks you Jeff and Em for a wonderful Dinner.

The whole weekend was wonderful! I am so grateful for Jeff and Em for letting us come and stay with them and for all they did for us while we were there. We look forward to seeing everyone again this weekend. We all love being with family, and Izabella adores her cousins. They were very entertaining.

Love you all,
Mike, Stefanie, and Izabella

Pig Tails

Izabella is now 16 months old, and I have decided that she finally had enough hair to try pigtails. You have to look really close but they are definitely there, sticking up behind her big hair bows. I had to put almost as much product in her hair as I do my own to get all her hair to say up. Sorry sweetie you definitely have you mother and fathers hair, thin, baby fine, and straight as a rod. No matter, I still think she looks so cute.
My daughter finally has hair!!! So here are some pictures... Izabella loves riding her horse...especially now that she is big enough to get on and off on her own.
Daddy bought Bella this new little table. It's just her size!
I can't believe how much Izabella looks like her cousin Hallie in this picture. At least I think so, what do you think Em?
This is Great Grandpa Iverson's little wood tractor that he made Izabella, and all his other great grand kids for Christmas. Every time she plays with it I can't help but think of how wonderfully talented Grandpa is, and how much I miss him. We love you Grandpa!!
We hope you all enjoyed these pictures as much as we did.

Love you all,

Michael, Stefanie, and Izabella

Our Visit Home

Izabella and I were able to come home for a weekend so that I could go to a work luncheon in Moses Lake last weekend. It was a short trip , but it was worth it to see all my family. Even A.J. took some time out of his busy schedule to come and see us.

We arrive in Tri Cities on Thursday afternoon were Kira met us and took us to her house for the evening. Izabella has never seen so many toys in one place ever in her life...Addi and Doug are very lucky to have such great play room. Then Friday it was off to Mom's. She put together a wonderful BBQ dinner, and Russ' cooking is always so yummy. And i always love to see Grandma and Grandpa Iverson when I'm home. I am always amazed how much their home has changed, but how familiar everything is. There is nothing better then being at home!!

Then on Saturday morning Dad and Jeana took me horse back riding. It was so much fun! I had almost forgotten how much I enjoy riding. Jake came with us to, and the four of us rode for hours. I can't wait for my next trip home so that we can ride again. Izabella wasn't so sure of the horses. She loved being able to pet them, but she didn't want to ride unless mom was there too.
We will just have to get around horses more so that she will love them as much as her mommy.

I want to thank my entire family for letting Izabella and I come stay with them. We miss you all so much and were grateful for the chance to come home, even if it was for only a couple of short days. July will be here soon and then we will have a whole week of fun together.

Love you all and see you again soon,
Stefanie and Izabella
