3 Wonderful Years

I can’t believe that it has been 3 short years since Mike and I were married in the Bountiful temple. I was a beautiful winter day with snow on the ground and all our family and friends around us to keep us warm on this very cold afternoon. I don’t remember the cold though. What do I remember? Let me tell you.I remember the nerves that Mike was going to be late, or not show up at all, however, thanks to Lisa, Mike’s fiend Joel’s wife, he made it, even though he was running on Mike time. Late, that is. Not only that but when I gave him a hug I noticed that under his nice suit was a black shirt with hibiscus flowers printed on either side of the buttons. So Mike.
I remember the look on his face the first time he saw me in my perfectly white dress. The most perfect moment is hearing the man you are going to marry tell you, you look beautiful. I remember being surrounded with family and friends. Not being able to control my joy or my huge smile for that matter. And all the photographers that we had. Let’s just say that I had about 500 photos to choose from for this post, but I think I picked out most of my favorites.
I have to say that I met and married my perfect companion. When they say opposites attract they couldn’t have been more right, however I think it is our differences that bring us closer together. And the fact that Mike never ceasing to amaze me helps too. It seems that He is always going out of his way to find a way to lighten my load and to make me smile. He had been my best friend since the day of our first date. He has supported me and comforted me, encouraged me when I felt like I couldn’t do something and appreciated all the little things in life that I seen to focus on.
Not only is he the perfect husband but he is an even better father. Izabella is his pride and joy! I love watching him play and teach Izabella to be just like him. It is no wonder that she is such a daddy’s girl.
I love you Mike! Happy Anniversary and here’s too many more happy years!

Thanksgiving Fun!!

It seems that Thanksgiving was just here, and then the next thing I knew we are well an out way into Christmas. Mike and I have a wonderful Thanksgiving break. We actually had the opportunity to spend ten whole days in Washington. It was great!
We started our trip at about 10:00 pm on the Friday before Thanksgiving, when we left Twin Falls and headed out as far as Nampa, where we stayed the night with Mike's parents. Izabella had so much fun entertaining Grandma.

Then the following day we made a stop in Tri Cities were we spent the evening with some friends. Thank you Amanda and Joe for letting us stay with you. The kids had so much fun playing with each other, and Conner was so enthusiastic about showing Izabella all of his cool toys.

This stand up piano was Bella’s favorite toy! She danced and sang and played even up till 2:00am. We tried to put the kids to bed, but they had plans to play all night long right along with their parents. Who stayed up just as late playing games. Thanks again Joe for being so patient with my peenuckle playing.

Amanda and Conner

Isn't he so cute, and he's growing up so fast!

Finally on Sunday we made our destination to Royal City, WA, my home. It was great to be able to see my family and there really isn’t anything like being home. I was so excited to spend so much time in Washington. I guess you could say that I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful job, and a job that has a corporate office in Moses Lake. This will allow me to be able to come home and visit any time I have to do training, which was the case this trip also. So Monday and Tuesday I spent in at work but Wednesday the fun really began.

Mom, or Nana as the kids know her had so much fun with all of her Grandkids. Everytime I turned around she was crowding all three of them on to her lap. Mom I don't think your lap will be big enough to hold all five of your Grandbabies. You might have to share with Russ.

Thursday was one of the greatest Thanksgivings I have ever had, even thought I really over ate. That morning we start off the day with biscuits and white country gravy. As soon as I was done making breakfast (with Russ) I moved into making things for the big dinner. My additions included, homemade gluten free Dressing, Rolls, and two pies, chocolate French silk and sour cream and lemon. Everything turned out wonderful and no one even said anything about the gluten free food. No one but Jenna who insisted that the gluten free rolls were the best she had ever had.
Izabella had so much fun playing with her cousins: Addilynn (Addi) and Douglas (Dougy) Kira’s kids. Unfortunately Jessica was the only one missing, but I guess being 8 months pregnant with twins is a pretty good excuse. We Missed You!!
After all this, the fun was just beginning! Dad was married on Friday and we were off to Hayden Lake, Id to enjoy the wedding and some family fun. The wedding was simple and perfect for Dad and Jeanna. And I truly enjoyed the presents of family. That evening dad and Jeanna volunteered to watch Izabella while Mike and I went swimming in the hotel pool. You may think this wouldn’t be any big deal, but this was no usual pool, that’s because we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Hayden Lake. This hotel is the home of Raptor Reef, a pool play land including slides and a play land, and the Triple Play including, miniature golf, bowling, a full arcade, wall climbing, laser tag, and I can remember if there is something else or not. It was awesome!
After 10 days away from home we were anxious to get home. There’s no place like home. It was great to see family and to spend so much time with them. We are so glad that Izabella had the time to get to know everyone and for all the love that she experienced. Mike and I have been truly blessed to have such a wonderful little girl who is so happy and playful. We have been blessed with wonderful, loving extended family, a great friends, all whom we love very much. Thank you for your friendship and your love. We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that your Holidays will be Wonderful also.
Merry Christmas to all…. (To be continued)

A Sisters

A sister is someone who leads you when you are having a problem.
A sister makes you laugh and cry.
A sister is someone who likes to fight with you.
A sister is the one who stands with you in all your ups and downs.
A sister makes you remember who you really are.
A sister sometimes makes you cry when they are very sad.
A sister is someone who is always there for you through all the laughter and tears.
A sister is real.
A sister never will pretend.
A sister is someone like you whom I treasure everyday in my heart.

Halloween!!!

Our little girls first Halloween!!!
We had such a wonderful evening. Mike and I bundled up our little ducky and headed out into the rain. We stopped at family and friends for candy, pictures, and some wonderful conversations. It was so much fun to watch Izabella enjoy the evening. She loved seeing every one and for the most part liked her costume. The Duck bill kept creeping down over her eyes so when she tried to look at someone she had to tilt her head all the way back. It was so cute. I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween. Here are some pictures to enjoy!!

Bella loved playing in the dirt!
Love you all,

Mike, Stefi, and Izabella the little ducky

Monday Night Family Fun

We had the greatest FHE this Monday night. We tried to do something together every Monday night, but that usually consists of staying at home watching a movie together, or maybe playing a game. This week we took Izabella to her first Corn Maze. CSI the collage just down the street from us have a small Corn Maze that they do every year. We thought that it would be interesting to see what Bella's reaction would be. She loved it!!! There were a couple of other families we knew that had had the same idea and they were there too playing a game of hide a seek. Izabella absolutely loved it when the kids jumped out of the corn at her and yelled "Boo". It was a beautiful night and it was wonderful to enjoy it with Mike and Izabella.

After the Corn Maze adventure we went home to carve our one little pumpkin. Mike hates carving pumpkins so Izabella and I picked out our own. Thankfully our friends Mark and Katrina had called and wanted to come over and carve pumpkins with us. Yay!!! The more the merrier. This will be Bella's first Halloween, so that made it her first pumpkin carving experience. She had so much fun. Daddy didn't really let her get to dirty, in fact he only let her stick her arm in the pumpkin and pull out the insides once or twice. Then he decided that her trying to eat it wasn't a good idea, however, letting her play with the top of the pumpkin would be ok. Wow, was he wrong. Izabella loves Pumpkin!! I mean she actually ate the top of the pumpkin. We couldn't get any pictures with out the top in her mouth. Who would have thought that the top of a pumpkin could keep a baby so happy. To cap off the eventful night we had a run to the ER. While carving pumpkins Katrina's hand slipped slicing her pinkie finger. Come to find out she actually cut through the flex er tendons and is going to have to have surgery to repair it. We're sorry Kat and hope you are back to new real soon. It just goes to show that even thought carving pumpkins is fun it needs to be done carefully and under adult supervision. I guess we should have asked someone to come supervise us. Despite this, I will always carve Jack-O Lanterns with my children. It's so much Fun!!! And I'm sure Katrina will also.
I am so excited for Friday when we get to take Izabella Trick- or -Treating. Mike's excited to because I told him if she gets any candy he can have it ALL!!!
Here are some pictures of our fun Monday Night...more will follow after all of our Halloween festivities!!

Daddy and Izabella in the Corn Maze!Daddy loves his little girl!Smiling at Mommy when she jumped out from the corn and said "Boo!!"Izabella sitting among the fallen corn stocks. She dove right in to the pumpkin!!Yummy!! Is what this little girl is thinking.Daddy showing off the Pumpkin. It is suppose to resemble Izabella with the big eyes, little nose, and two front teeth.Look at her go!! If you look closely at the top corner of the pumpkin top you will see where she was chewing on it earlier. We love Carving Jack-O-Lanterns!!!

Have a Happy Halloween!!!

New Trick...Nothing is safe

I was working on my blogging yesterday afternoon while I thought Izabella was preoccupied on the floor with her toys. A minute later I saw something out of the corner of my eye and there she was. She had pulled herself up onto a box of Mike's Star Trek video's. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. Walking is the next step in our little girls growing track and I don't know if I am ready for that!!

A day at the Pumpkin Patch

Hello everyone,

Fall is here, and I am loving all the beautiful colors as earth prepares herself for the winter that will arrive very soon. Our little family took advantage of such a beautiful fall day to take a family outing to the Pumpkin Patch. I have to say that now I am ready for the holidays.

Izabella really enjoyed herself. We couldn't get her to even look at us while we tried to capture the fun in pictures. She was to busy watching all the other kids, playing with the pumpkins, and yes even trying to eat dirt. Not quit the princess we would like her to be...but she sure had a lot of fun.Isn't she cute with this half smile of hers?!She was really concentrating on all the pumpkins.Surrounded by all those pumpkins...It makes Bella look so SmallIzabella was watching her daddyI think she found the perfect pumpkin. What do you think?Tell Daddy how much fun you are having!!We had such a wonderful time finding the perfect pumpkins today. We'll have to show you pictures after we carve them on Monday for FHE. We hope that you all are doing well and that you are finding that holiday spirit. Take care.

Love,
Mike, Stefanie, and Izabella

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSICA!!
I can't believe how grown up you are. It seems only yesterday we where children playing in the yard at home. Now we are married and having children of our own.
I want you to know what an inspiration you are to me, and how much I love and appreciate all that you have done for me. You are a wonderful sister who inspires me in all that you do. You have been a wonderful sister, friend and Aunt to Izabella. We love you and hope that this special day is full of fun and laughter.

A poem for my sister

Even though we are miles apart
It's like your still here next to me.
Because i keep you in my heart.
When you feel down look for me in your dream
We have been there for each other our whole lives.
No one can ever take your place.
Your shoulder is what i have used for my cries.
You have made me laugh when i had a frown on my face.
We are sisters and friends.
I love you my sister till the end.
I could not imagine my life without you
You are my rock.
Just always remember i love you my sister.
And i will be here till the end.
So look for me in your dreams.
When you need a friend
Or you just want to scream.
I love you Jessica Page...Have a wonderful 24th Birthday!!!

Rose Peddal Place

We took Izabella to the CSI rose garden today to get some beautiful pictures of our beautiful little girl. I can't believe that she is now 9 mons old. She is growing up so fast. She is crawling now, and I can't keep up with her. We have bought lots of toys for Bella, however, she is more content with finding things to get into. The last couple of days we have found her trying to read my scriptures. Actually, she was really trying to tar the pages out. Her favorite place to play is under my feet while I'm cooking in the kitchen. The best way to entertain her is to give her your hands and let her walk all around the house.
Look how happy!!
What a pretty flower!
This is her Vana White look.
Along with her crawling around making messes all over my house, she is filling the air with hours of babble. Izabella may not be able to say anything right now, but we will sure be in trouble when she does start talking. She also loves to sing, and it doesn't matter when of where. She'll sing along with the radio and me when in the car, and loudest during the hymes in sacrament. Not only does she really like to sing, but she also loves to laugh. Obviously Bella has Mike's personality because she think she is the funniest person in the world. She will be talking, either to her self or who ever will listen, and then she will stop apprubly and start laughing historically. I guess this is her idea of a joke. It's just a blessing to have such a happy little baby.

A little girl on the move to find some mischief.

I've decided that being a working mom is hard. I can't believe how time gets away from me. There are days that I don't even know have come and gone. I love my job, and even though things are busy now and I am working a lot of overtime, there always seems to be enough time for my family. I was afraid of missing out on my daughter growing up, but really I think it just helps me appreciate all the time I do get to spend with her.

Izabella really loves her Daddy!!
We love you all and hope that you are doing well. Take care and tell your families HI!

Love ya,
Mike, Stefanie, Izabella, and Echo

Another month came and went!

Where does time go. I can't believe that it is now September! Where did Augest go? I don't know. The hardest thing to believe is that my baby is now 8 months old. I know people always said that they grow up so fast, but this is faster then I was expecting. I miss the days when she would just sleep on my stomach for hours and be so content. Now taking naps is almost out of the question. She is such a busy little thing, always having to be doing something. She isn't crawling yet, but I think that is because she can get everywhere she needs to by rolling or scooting. She has been getting up on her hands and knees and rocking back and forth for the past couple of weeks. She just doesn't seem to be interested in crawling, but man does she love to walk. Just lend her your hands and off she goes, as fast as her little feet will go.

A couple of weeks ago Mike and I moved into another apartment. Don't worry this is the last time we are moving until we buy a house; at least it is the last time I am moving. We love our new place and can't wait to get everything situated.
Here are some pictures of our little girl:
For some reason my daughter thinks she needs to hold her bottle with both hands and both feet. She really is a little monkey!!
Izabella stole Daddy's pepsi before he could open it...she looks like she's enjoying it.
O' oh...Daddy caught me...I just need to look inocent now.
Bella is going to follow in her mommy's foot steps. I just don't know it she's to sure about it yet!
Izabella looking at her new book Grandma Plane made her. She loves books!!

Our whole family is doing great despite being too busy to realize how fast life is passing us by. We think of you all often and hope that you are all doing well also. We love you all and hope to see you soon.

Love,

Mike, Stefanie, Izabella, and Echo

The Wedding

“This day I will marry my friend, the one I laugh with, live for, dream with, love”Matt and JetteThe Wedding party with the Bride and Groom!

For three years I have watched two of our best friends grow more and more in love. I have wondered as many when they would decide to be married. Well that day was yesterday!! Matt and Bridgette are in my opinion true soul mates. I have never met two people who are so much a like and enjoy so many of the same things. I on the other hand married my opposite in most things. It has been said that opposites attract, but I know now that love comes to all in its own way and in its own time. With both Matt and
Jette being such out doors people who love to be in the wilderness it is no wonder that their perfect setting for their wedding would be on a beach in the middle of no where. I always thought that getting married on the beach would be such a wonderful setting for a wedding, now I know first hand that it is. My family and friends had the wonderful opportunity to attend a beach wedding up at Red Fish Lake. I never knew that such a beautiful area was so close to Twin, but then again I don't get out much. It was a small ceremony with only about 30 people, but it was perfect, and fit the two of them perfectly. What a Beautiful Bride you are.

I am so happy for both Matt and
Jette and hope that they will truly appreciate the blessings of being married to their best friend and to the one they have grown to love so very much. There is nothing better then marrying the one you love and being able to grow old with them. Marriage is hard, and takes a lot of work, but as most of us know, it is defiantly worth it at the end or each day.
So Happy Together

We were
grateful to be able to watch them take their vows and become one with each other. It always makes me think about my own marriage and the love I have for Michael. Not only how lucky I am to have him in my life and how wonderful it is to finally be truly happy, but also how blessed my life has been since he came into my life. Not to mention that know it is not only us, we have made a family and added a beautiful little girl to the world. To have Mike and Izabella with me at this wedding made me even more grateful for the family I have and the love that we all share.
Daddy and his little princess

Izabella
is such a happy baby and even on a long hot day like this one she continues smiling. The wedding was a 3 pm and it was very hot, but Bella did so well. Even late into the afternoon when we prepared and ate a wonderful family dinner on the beach she was happy to be there and to be adored by all of our friends. I can't believe how blessed Mike and I are to have such a sweet little girl in our lives to keep us smiling.
Everyone loves Izabella...she's just to cute!
Katrina and our little girl.

Kris, Matt's older brother loves to help out when he is home from the navy.

Izabella gets a kiss from the Bride...we love you Jette!

I am so happy for Matt and Bridgette Wilson and with them all the best in love and life. Just remember, A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.

Got to love your Chaco's
