Our family trip to Utah!!

We all took a trip to Utah this weekend to meet both of Izabella's Great Grandmas and visit all the family we have down there. We were able to visit Temple square in Salt Lake City, and play with new cousins in Hebar. We had so much fun, but we are glad to be home. Izabella was really tired of her car seat and was missing her puppy so much. I will post more on our trip later, but I thought I should make a little note about all the wonderful pictures I just added to this page. So until I have more time...Enjoy my photo album!!!

Summer is coming

I can't believe how warm it has been the last couple of days. I am glad that summer is coming, I just wish we wouldn't have missed out on spring. Izabella loves the out doors and I am anxious to share everything with her. This weekend I had to work so Mike met me down at city park for a picnic lunch Saturday afternoon. It was wonderful. I was holding Bella and she was staring at the green grass. Of course since Mike dressed her for the day she didn't have any socks on, so I stood her up in the damp grass. She moved her toes so they griped the grass between them and then she laughed. It was one of the cutest things she has ever done.
Izabella Is really building her own unique personality.

She loves her thumb and her "Arrow Plane" PJ's!!

Bella loves her puppy Echo!!! She has started pulling at her
tail and ears, but Echo doesn't mind
She enjoys Izabella's company.

What a happy little girl!
Izabella is really growing. I can't believe how much bigger she has grown in the last two weeks. I guess starting to eat something other than formula really shocks their systems. We have been trying very patiently to introduce vegetables to her along with her cereal for the last week. I am sad to say she really didn't care for them. So yesterday I gave up and let her try some pears. She has never eaten so much before. It was like she couldn't get enough. Hopefully I can get her to try veggies again soon and maybe this time she will like them a little better.
Also this weekend Izabella has been trying more and more to sit up on her own. When we go on our walks in the evening she pulls herself up by grabbing the edges of the stroller. She is trying so very hard and I hope she masters it quickly. Even when she is watching movies with Mike she prefers to sit up any way that she can manage.
Babies are so precious when they are sleeping... She is so very peaceful!!!
Mike finished up another round of classes on Sunday and I am happy to report that we did very well in both of his classes. He has the entire week off before he starts his new classes, so you could say that he is really excited to have a week to do what he wants to. Yesterday was his first night off of school and he thoroughly enjoyed it running around the neighborhood making sure that every ones computers were working correctly. And by doing this he has almost completely filled up his week with things he needs, and want to do. I am looking forward to the week and being able to spend so much time with him. This weekend we are even going to take a little family trip to Salt Lake with Mikes parents. This will be Izabella's second trip out of Twin Falls. I am excited and I hope we have a lot of fun. I'll be sure to let you all know. Have a great day!!!

Izabella at 4 Months Old

It’s hard to believe that Izabella is over 4 months old now. Time really does fly when you are having so much fun. That is exactly what raising Izabella is all about, fun. She really is a great little girl and is developing the cutest little personality, but why wouldn’t she with Mike and I being her parents. Our days are filled with smiles and giggles. Playing with Bella is the highlight of both Mike and my days. As you will see in her pictures, she loves her jumper roo, that little thing with the big eyes she is always in. Izabella spend about two hours a day jumping and turning, playing with all the little toys on the sides of this great little toy. Not to mention that all her time spent in it is really strengthening her legs. Even when you hold her she prefers to stand up on your legs rather then sit down. Even our friends are enjoying her more and more each day. Matt Wilson came over the other day and was totally taken by her giggles as she jumped around. She also really enjoys her Baby Einstein time in the morning with mommy when we lie on the floor on our tummies and watch one of her little videos. I think she is going to love movies as much and Mike and I do.
She is also becoming a little chatter bug as well. It’s almost like having a broken record because she only stops long enough to take a long deep breath and then starts all over again. However, I really don’t mind because the sounds she makes are so cute. Even in the morning when she wakes up, we don’t hear any crying coming over the monitor, just unending sentences in Izabella language. I think the best part of my day happen when I finally decide to get up and go get her, and I peer over the side of the crib to see her talking to her stuffed animals. Then when she realizes someone is standing over her she will look up at you with her huge toothless smile. I’m glad she is a morning person like her mom.
She also love attention, I mean being the center of attention. The other day in church I was holding Izabella up on my shoulder so she could look around. There was a sweet older lady sitting behind us and Bella was determined to smile and talk to her. After many attempt she was unable to sway the attention of the lady from the lesson being tough and she became quite upset. In fact she practically yelled at the lady until she looked at her and smiled. Then everything was ok and Bella moved on to catch everyone else’s eye in the room.
Mike and I are so blessed having Izabella in our lives, and we are really enjoying being parents. Mike has Bella two days a week by him self while I am at work and I think he really enjoys his daddy daughter time even though he is finding it difficult to complete his home work with a 4 month old in the room. We want to thank you all for you support and love and you wonderful gifts that you are still sharing with us. Thank you from our whole family.

We Love You All,

Stefi Jo

P.S. Thank you for all of your wonderful comments. And Tilleea thank you for the web sites...I might be able to do this after all.

Izabella at 4 Months Old

Something New

Well I guess since everyone else is doing it I had better attempt to figure out how it all works. Blogging that is, so here is my attempt. I will be welcoming pointers, tips, and how too from anyone who would like to send them my way. Including how you all find those cute layouts. Anyway…how do I start out here…? So much has happened in the short two and half years that Mike and I have been married. It’s almost hard to believe that it has been that long. Mike and I are still living in Twin Falls, Id, after a short few months in the big city of Nampa, we are grateful to be home and we love our little town. We enjoy the small community and Mike knows almost everyone who lives here. We can’t go anywhere without Mike introducing me to someone new. We live in the greatest little neighborhood with all of our friends just across the street. So needless to say we are never without friends and fun.
Mike and I had no idea how much we were missing in our seemingly perfect world, until December 31, 2007, when our little girl, Izabella Arrow came into our lives. She is the most beautiful little princess in the world, or so Mike and I think. You know how your mother always says, “You just wait, one day you’ll have a little baby just like you!!” Yea, you could say after my mom saying this to me so many times over the years I was naturally worried about bringing this little baby into the world, because I know, from numerous stories, that I was a horrible baby. What was I going to do? Well thankfully, Mike’s saying of “God wouldn’t do that to me!”, and the stories of him being such a good baby, came through for him, and my mom’s threat was avoided for now, because Izabella is a perfect baby. She rarely ever cries, and has been sleeping through the night since she was twelve weeks old. The only time she really gets cranky is when she is hungry, or in her world starving. She defiantly is part Iverson, hence her love for food.
Our family couldn’t be happier. Mike is working for his best friend’s dad at a computer networking company doing computer stuff and he loves it. At least that is how I interoperate it when he doesn’t come home any day before 5:30 when he is suppose to be off at 5:00; usually it is closer to 6:00. And I have found a job that I enjoy and look forward to daily, not to mention that I only have to work three days a week. I’m grateful to be able to work a full time job and still have time for family. We have been so luckily to have such wonderful friends to volunteer to watch Izabella for us. Katie, a good high school friend of Mike’s, watches her most days. Along with her nine month old little boy, Colton, she has her hands full, and we appreciate all she does. On days that Katie can’t watch her Mike usually doesn’t have any problem finding someone to watch Bella for a few hours. In fact, he jokes about just standing out in the middle of our street holding Izabella in the air saying, “Baby for the taking!”, and all doors will open and the race to see who will have the pleasure of caring for our little orphaned for the afternoon begins. With me only working three days a week it leaves a lot of time for family time. Just Mike, Izabella, Echo and I, Echo is our two year old Beagle, and yes she is very much a part of our little family. We all like to take long walks, wherever they may lead, playing on the floor, going outside, now that it is warm enough, and playing games with family and friends. We can’t wait to see what the summer will bring and the adventures that will come as Izabella grows older.
Now that we are finally settled in a great apartment, in a great neighborhood, in our great little town we are ready for all of the adventures ahead. Hopefully I will figure out this whole blog thing and be able to catch up with you all. And then maybe I will be able to keep you all caught up on our busy little life. Take care and I will write again soon.
Love you all - Stefi
