First time at the Park!!

Today I took Izabella on her first adventure to the park!! It was a little windy, but she didn't seem to mind at all. I think the swing was her favorite. Everytime the wind blew it gave her a little push and she would start to laugh. She also liked the slide, even though I think she was more interested in trying to find a way to eat it, then to accualy slide down it. I'm not very good at taking photoes, but with Katrina's help I was able to get a few really cut ones. Enjoy and have a great day!!

Great Grandparents

Izabella had quite an eventful week last week. In a matter of four days she meet all four of her Great Grandma's and two Great Grandpa's. What a lucky girl to still have so many great grandparents to love her. It was great to be able to see so much family and to be able to share our little family with everyone. Izabella has been pretty cranky the last few days because she has a tooth coming in, but I think over all she made a good impression with everyone. It's hard to not love her chubby cheeks and large toothless smile.
Luckily for Great Grandma Burton, she gets to see Izabella when ever she wants since she lives her in Twin Falls. Almost every week Mommy and Bella go down to the court house to visit grandma at work, along with all the other girls that love to see her. Great Grandma Plane was the first GG Izabella met on our weekend on the Great Grandparents. She told us that back home in South Carolina that they call her GG for short. I was great to be able to meed Grandma Plane for the first time, for me as well as for little Bella. After a great dinner, thanks Aunt Ceil, the whole Plane family went to temple square and went up to the roof of the new conference center to take a few pictures. It was wonderful to have the whole family together.
After the fun at Salt Lake with GG the whole family headed up to Heber City to see Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Edwards.

Bella had so much fun at Great Grandma's and Great Grandpa's house. She was able to play with her cousins, Justin, Haley and Kara, and she got to play with Mike's cousin Brandis' little girl Kaida. They had so much fun and it was great to watch Izabella interact with kids close to her same age. Izabella at almost 5 months, Kaida almost 9 months, and Kara almost 1 month. These girls are going to be great friends I just know it.

Here are two great Daddies and there little girls. Mikey and her brother Jeff had to get away from all the adults at the table.

Mikey and his cousin Brandis take some time to pose for a picture.

Then after Mike and I got home we heard that Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Iverson were coming through Twin Falls on there way to Utah. We were so excited!! Unfortunately Mommy didn't manage to get a picture of G Grandpa Iverson, she was to busy talking, so we will have to get one in a couple of weeks when we are up in Royal.

Great Grandma Iverson and Izabella checking each other out!!

Also on our trip down south I was able to get Mike to get some pictures. These are the first pictures of Mike and I together since our Wedding. He hates to take pictures, but know that he has a little girl he is going to have to let me take a lot more. So here are our first family photos.

We have Izabella in the little sling carrier that Emily made me. It works so great and is better than haling the stroller around. However, I think Bella is starting to out grow it. Thank you Emily!! Everyone said the Bella looked like a pink candy cane in her little jacket.

Izabella isn't even looking in this one, but it is a great picture of Mike and I.

There are not a lot of people who can say that they have met all four of their great grandmas, not to mention that in a few weeks Izabella will get to meet her fifth Great Grandma when we are in Washington. She is really a greatly loved little girl. We are so grateful to have such a large and wonderful family. We have so much support all around us from them and our friends. Families are forever and I am grateful that we will always be with our loving family. Thank you for all you do for us!!

I just had to add a picture of Izabella and Mommy!!

Check out my Slide Show!

Our family trip to Utah!!

We all took a trip to Utah this weekend to meet both of Izabella's Great Grandmas and visit all the family we have down there. We were able to visit Temple square in Salt Lake City, and play with new cousins in Hebar. We had so much fun, but we are glad to be home. Izabella was really tired of her car seat and was missing her puppy so much. I will post more on our trip later, but I thought I should make a little note about all the wonderful pictures I just added to this page. So until I have more time...Enjoy my photo album!!!

Summer is coming

I can't believe how warm it has been the last couple of days. I am glad that summer is coming, I just wish we wouldn't have missed out on spring. Izabella loves the out doors and I am anxious to share everything with her. This weekend I had to work so Mike met me down at city park for a picnic lunch Saturday afternoon. It was wonderful. I was holding Bella and she was staring at the green grass. Of course since Mike dressed her for the day she didn't have any socks on, so I stood her up in the damp grass. She moved her toes so they griped the grass between them and then she laughed. It was one of the cutest things she has ever done.
Izabella Is really building her own unique personality.

She loves her thumb and her "Arrow Plane" PJ's!!

Bella loves her puppy Echo!!! She has started pulling at her
tail and ears, but Echo doesn't mind
She enjoys Izabella's company.

What a happy little girl!
Izabella is really growing. I can't believe how much bigger she has grown in the last two weeks. I guess starting to eat something other than formula really shocks their systems. We have been trying very patiently to introduce vegetables to her along with her cereal for the last week. I am sad to say she really didn't care for them. So yesterday I gave up and let her try some pears. She has never eaten so much before. It was like she couldn't get enough. Hopefully I can get her to try veggies again soon and maybe this time she will like them a little better.
Also this weekend Izabella has been trying more and more to sit up on her own. When we go on our walks in the evening she pulls herself up by grabbing the edges of the stroller. She is trying so very hard and I hope she masters it quickly. Even when she is watching movies with Mike she prefers to sit up any way that she can manage.
Babies are so precious when they are sleeping... She is so very peaceful!!!
Mike finished up another round of classes on Sunday and I am happy to report that we did very well in both of his classes. He has the entire week off before he starts his new classes, so you could say that he is really excited to have a week to do what he wants to. Yesterday was his first night off of school and he thoroughly enjoyed it running around the neighborhood making sure that every ones computers were working correctly. And by doing this he has almost completely filled up his week with things he needs, and want to do. I am looking forward to the week and being able to spend so much time with him. This weekend we are even going to take a little family trip to Salt Lake with Mikes parents. This will be Izabella's second trip out of Twin Falls. I am excited and I hope we have a lot of fun. I'll be sure to let you all know. Have a great day!!!

Izabella at 4 Months Old

It’s hard to believe that Izabella is over 4 months old now. Time really does fly when you are having so much fun. That is exactly what raising Izabella is all about, fun. She really is a great little girl and is developing the cutest little personality, but why wouldn’t she with Mike and I being her parents. Our days are filled with smiles and giggles. Playing with Bella is the highlight of both Mike and my days. As you will see in her pictures, she loves her jumper roo, that little thing with the big eyes she is always in. Izabella spend about two hours a day jumping and turning, playing with all the little toys on the sides of this great little toy. Not to mention that all her time spent in it is really strengthening her legs. Even when you hold her she prefers to stand up on your legs rather then sit down. Even our friends are enjoying her more and more each day. Matt Wilson came over the other day and was totally taken by her giggles as she jumped around. She also really enjoys her Baby Einstein time in the morning with mommy when we lie on the floor on our tummies and watch one of her little videos. I think she is going to love movies as much and Mike and I do.
She is also becoming a little chatter bug as well. It’s almost like having a broken record because she only stops long enough to take a long deep breath and then starts all over again. However, I really don’t mind because the sounds she makes are so cute. Even in the morning when she wakes up, we don’t hear any crying coming over the monitor, just unending sentences in Izabella language. I think the best part of my day happen when I finally decide to get up and go get her, and I peer over the side of the crib to see her talking to her stuffed animals. Then when she realizes someone is standing over her she will look up at you with her huge toothless smile. I’m glad she is a morning person like her mom.
She also love attention, I mean being the center of attention. The other day in church I was holding Izabella up on my shoulder so she could look around. There was a sweet older lady sitting behind us and Bella was determined to smile and talk to her. After many attempt she was unable to sway the attention of the lady from the lesson being tough and she became quite upset. In fact she practically yelled at the lady until she looked at her and smiled. Then everything was ok and Bella moved on to catch everyone else’s eye in the room.
Mike and I are so blessed having Izabella in our lives, and we are really enjoying being parents. Mike has Bella two days a week by him self while I am at work and I think he really enjoys his daddy daughter time even though he is finding it difficult to complete his home work with a 4 month old in the room. We want to thank you all for you support and love and you wonderful gifts that you are still sharing with us. Thank you from our whole family.

We Love You All,

Stefi Jo

P.S. Thank you for all of your wonderful comments. And Tilleea thank you for the web sites...I might be able to do this after all.
