This weekend was Abigail Charlotte baby blessing. It was wonderful to have so much family and so many friends come to share in this special day. Here are some pictures of our beautiful little girls!!
Here is Abigail in her pretty little blessing dress! I wanted Izabella to wear all white also so this is the little dress I got for her...
Doesn't she look so cute?!!
Bella hates getting her picture taken, so getting her to smile for these pictures where torture for both her and I. But I had to try to get one of my girls together on Abigail's special day!
Here are a couple pictures of a full dress shot of Abigail's beautiful blessing dress...Here is the story...
I told Mike I wanted to get a blessing dress for Abi and of course he reputed with, can't she just wear Izabella's. Of course not, she needs her own dress to wear on her special day.
So after looking all over town and on hundreds of different web sites when I finally found this dress and I fell in love with it. So I ordered it off of ebay where I found it for more then half off, i was so excited! However, after about three weeks of waiting I got really worried that I hadn't received my dress yet so I called the company I ordered it from. According to their records the dress was being returned due to being sent to the wrong address. We corrected my address and the lady I spoke to agreed to send it to this address as soon as the received the dress.
Finally last Monday I had to find out were my dress was, so I called the company back and they said they had still not received it. So I tried the post office. They told me that the last time the package was scanned was when it had come back to the Twin Falls office for return, and until it was scanned again there was no way to know where it is. I was furious!! I mean, why put a tracking number on something when you can't track it. So of course I freaked out and dragged Mike to every store to find another dress. I couldn't find one. Not one that I really liked, and there wasn't a single one Mike didn't turn his nose up at. What was I going to do? Abigail was being blessed in three days and I didn't have a dress for her to wear.
I finally had just come to the realization that there was nothing that I could do and Abigail would have to wear Izabella's blessing dress, when the post office called, and they had found my package. Something had happened and the package had been lost in the Twin Falls post office and had never been returned. It had just been hanging out in limbo for the last three to four weeks. So after letting me know that the entire mix up was my fault since the company was given the wrong address, I was given permission to pick up my dress. After seeing Abigail in her dress it was all worth it and it was a very special day for Abigail and the whole family. Thank you to everyone who made the trip and helped make Sunday such a wonderful day!!
Love you all,

Your girls are so cute, Abi is such a precious little baby! What a pain about the dress, glad you finally got it!
ahhhhhh, the dress is beautiful! I'm glad you finally got it. Your two girls are so adorable. They both look so cute.
I have to say I agree with Mike on this one......I'm using the same blessing outfit that Cy wore, I love it and think it's special that they both get to wear it! But, I totally see your point of view now, too! (and Abigail's dress is gorgeous I can see why you fell in love with it.) Maybe if I had girls it would be different?
YAY for awesome families! I thought about you guys and wish you lived closer so we could've crashed the party. hehehe
Let me know when you are coming for a visit, I would love to hold Miss Abigail!
BEautiful! definitely a story to remember.
